Is Tembo only for Kids?
Not at all. Tembo is a playful musical instrument, not a musical toy. While it’s a natural fit for younger learners (we’ve had users as young as five), it’s equally engaging for adults of any age (our most senior resident is 87!)
When will Do I need any musical background to use Tembo?
No, Tembo works for all skill levels; no special musical background is required. Tembo is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, even for complete beginners.
How long does Tembo’s battery last?
Tembo’s battery will allow for 3+ hours of playtime on a single charge, and can easily be charged via a USB-C.
Can I connect other instruments to Tembo?
Yes, Tembo has a combo input that accepts mic-level, line-level, or high-impedance instrument signals (e.g. electric guitar). Moreover, it was designed to jam with your instruments.
Can I connect Tembo to external speakers?
Absolutely! You can connect Tembo to external speakers using its built-in port.
Can Tembo be used for live performance?
Yes, it can be used for live performance, looping, and real-time music creation. It’s designed to be expressive, fast, and hands-on in live settings.
